POSITION SUMMARYThe Eligibility & Benefits Specialist obtains and verifies client’s insurance benefits as needed to ensure the correct insurance companies are billed for services rendered and to obtains initial and ongoing service authorizations. They are also responsible to enter and maintain the insurance and authorization data in the electronic health record (EHR). Hourly Rate: $18.00 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma plus two years of related experience is required. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office products, other software programs, and office equipment such as fax, copiers, and scanners is required.
